This time of year isn’t just about new bikes, it’s also when new products and accessories are unveiled. And touring and adventure equipment oligarchs Touratech have been very busy… Given they still produce many accessories for the old Africa Twin, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that Touratech are lining up the full complement of add-ons for the new one. The good news is they’ve had a pre-release version of the bike for some time, so all of the hard-parts you would expect will be available to buy when deliveries of the new Africa Twin start in early 2016.
Touratech also announced an agreement with Ducati to produce touring products for the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro and, surprisingly, the Scrambler. Some parts, such as luggage, engine protection and sat-nav mounts will be available exclusively from Ducati dealers, while an additional range of accessories, including bar-risers and sensor guards, will be sold by Touratech directly.
Touratech have also teamed upwith Schuberth to produce a flip-up version of their Aventuro helmet and with waterproof luggage specialists Ortlieb to produce a range of neat soft-panniers designed to attach to Touratech pannier frames. Touratech will also be expanding their clothing range in 2016, with their first ever range of gloves and innovative new boots featuring inner liners that can be worn off the bike as shoes.
You can get your hands on all the new Touratech gear in the Adventure Zone at the MCN London Motorcycle Show in February, along with all the bikes those bits attach to.
