In recent months we have seen quite a few interesting small and mid-capacity cafe racers (such as the 250cc Sinnis Buccaneer) and the AJS Cadwell 125 is a welcome addition to this trend. AJS calls the bike iconic. affordable, lightweight and easy to ride with cafe retro style. We’ll get one in to test soon, so we’ll be able to see what it’s like to ride, but it certainly looks great.

The AJS Cadwell 125 comes in two colours: black with gold graphics, and silver with black graphics. It has spoked wheels with alloy rims, both a centre stand and a side stand ﬁtted, stainless steel exhaust system and a removable seat cowl.
The AJS Cadwell is powered by the F28 125cc four-stroke, OHC, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine from AJS Eco series of motorcycles, producing a claimed maximum power of 7.1 kW @ 8.500 RPM.
For extra peace of mind the bike comes with a 12 months AJS parts and labour warranty. Aftermarket accessories will include chrome fenders, number plate side panels, piggyback rear shocks, ﬂat seat and ﬂy-screen. The AJS Cadwell 125 is priced at £1898 + OTR.
